Methodology.
The process and the eventual product.
Three Step Process
This is the outline of what I will be doing to produce effective testing results for my products.
Teach.
My audience will be Model UN, and I will present information on graphic design terminology and its association with political history.
Inquire.
I will create a Google Form that allows the Model UN members to assess the purposes of several images I have created.
Using the Google Form, I will analyze whether the images I created during my mentorship matched their intended purposes.
Analyze.
Let's get specific.
My work mostly focused on graphic design behind cities and nations, so the Model UN club was chosen for this project's audience. With their existing knowledge of history and the dynamics of subjects like propaganda, they were the perfect pick.
To teach the Model UN club members about essential graphic design terminology, they will go through a quick self-paced mini-lesson which will be available as another page on my Hostinger portfolio. This mini-lesson will introduce to them what they need to know for the Google form that will be made available to them afterward.
On this Google Form, there are going to be several questions, some of which assess general knowledge from a statistics perspective rather than a quiz perspective, as well as questions that ask them to decide on the purpose or meaning behind a certain image. These images can range from flags, and advertisements, to maps.
After the Google Form has been completed, I will look at the results of all the questions to see if, from the majority perspective, I achieved my desired purpose of said images.
Check out the mini-lesson.
