MSA Senior Project

As part of the Ocean Lakes High School Math and Science Academy, students are tasked with completing either a capstone or research project related to a STEM topic of their choice. It consisted of three main parts:

Main Research/Shadowing

In this phase, students either conducted their main research or shadowed a professional in the STEM field of their choosing. At the end of this experience, students wrote a literature review detailing what they have learned and their experience.

Product Creation

During this portion of the project, students decide how they want to leave a lasting impact with the work they have conducted both over previous years and the summer before senior year.

Capacity Building

This included all previous knowledge and work done with the topic of choice, as well as basic informational research about the topic.
